Captain Flatcap

Right, so It appears to all be kicking off... Not going to actually write anything down about it just yet, just in case I jinx it... but shizzle is going down yo!

To fill you in on Captain Flatcap, for those of you who don't know:
Think electro house meets swing and folk, dirty basslines fused with live instrumental melodies. When performing live, the Captain and his crew accompany quirky synths and heavy beats with cajon, guitar, trumpet, flute and mandolin.

Here's a live studio session of our first release, 'Funky Farmers', video by Burning Wick Productions:

Here's a sneaky mini mix of forthcoming material:

Here's our second release 'Carolina Shout' (FREE DOWNLOAD!). It's our debut electro swing track. Featuring myself on Mandolin and my brother Tom Rotherham on Trumpet. Piano samples from 'Carolina Shout' performed by Fats Waller in 1941. Originally by ragtime composer James P. Johnson.

mmmmmm... that's about it for now!
More updates coming very soon! Big love to all!!
