Happy Christmas everyone!

My lovely parents got me a Mandola for xmas : ) as shown below, which sounds lush, can't wait to record it!

I've just filmed an Electro Swing MiniMix, which was rather fun to put together. It's difficult trying to put as much as you can into a ten minute mix, but I managed to fit 6 tracks into it. Recent Summer Happens

Blog blog blog, slack slack slack, blah blah blah.
So I've been reeeeeeaaaally busy, just got back from a quick 5 day get away in Bude, Cornwall with my folks and I was at Big Chill festival just before that.

I've been working loads recently with Joanna Weston, we've now expanded to a four piece band (Robin Smith on Bass and Gazz Roberts on Kajon).

Been doing the DJing a fair bit recently too, been playing a lot of this new Electro Swing stuff, I've just done an hour long mix which i'll post the track list for shortly.

Still working on my own tunes but not having as much time to do so at the moment. Thinking of starting a little electronic live thing with my brother Tom. We've recently done a tune together entitled "sumbarine" which can be found here:

Uni's Over!

Has it really been three years already? I'm now currently waiting for my results, got about a month or so to go. But I'm still keeping myself busy! Other than working on my own few little tunes I'm currently practicing for acoustic sets with Joanna Weston, the idea that she's going to build a full band before the end of the year. We've got a few gigs coming up this summer including Guilfest (on the Saturday night), check Jo's myspace for details.

We played a couple of 45 minute sets in a nice little Italian Restaurant in Cobham last night called the Lo Stivale, which I thoroughly recommend, It was fairly tasty indeed! We also played at Fahrenheit in Guildford last week too, here's a couple of photos:

How is it May already!

Well, it's been a long long while since I've done any sort of blogging, and much has been happening! I've only got a week left of University... ever! What will the future bring?

For my final end of year project for Uni I made an EP entitled 'Forbidden Pools'. I've started a Bandcamp page, and It's available for listening and downloading there. I've spent a hell of a long time making this thing. It features some drumming by my good friend Tobias Gale, and has some lovely artwork which Max Lowry designed for me, big up yourselves boys!

So, what's going on in the near future? Well i'm sure I'll be continueing to produce track, but I've got a new project on the go, playing lead guitar for Joanna Weston, who is a truly talented young lady. Do go and check out her choons!

The majority of the old links are still down, I'll probably put the best ones up on Bandcamp, or soundcloud.

Happy new year!

Had a pretty good christmas, pretty standard. Had a couple of uni deadlines recently, one being a mix of our uni group composition entitled 'Red People', featuring flute playing from myself and drum bashing from Tobias Gale, the mix I did is below.
